We zijn trots om vandaag de officiële poster te kunnen onthullen van Echo Base Charity Con! Het prachtige artwork op de poster met de naam “Evolution of Luke Skywalker” is gemaakt door Stephen B. Scott, een Amerikaanse comic artist die onder andere de officiële comicbewerking van de Batman-film The Dark Knight heeft getekend en die door George Lucas werd gevraagd om de art te verzorgen voor de comic Indiana Jones and the Tomb of the Gods. Art Grafunkel verzorgde het ontwerp.

De poster viert niet alleen het 40-jarige bestaan van de Star Wars franchise, maar focust zich ook op de ontwikkeling van Luke Skywalker, van ‘farm boy’ tot mysterieuze kluizenaar die straks in The Last Jedi (hopelijk) meer duidelijkheid zal geven over zijn lange afwezigheid. En dit is het resultaat:

Today we are proud to reveal the official poster for Echo Base Charity Con! The gorgeous artwork on the poster – carrying the title “Evolution of Luke Skywalker” – was made by Stephen B. Scott, an American comic artist who was responsible for the official comic treatment of the Batman movie The Dark Knight and who was asked by George Lucas to make the art for the comic Indiana Jones and the Tomb of the Gods. Art Grafunkel was responsible for making up the lay-out.

The poster not only celebrates the 40th anniversary of the Star Wars franchise, but also focuses on the evolution of Luke Skywalker, from ‘farm boy’ to the mysterious hermit in The Last Jedi who will (hopefully) shed some light on his long absence. And this is the result:

Stephen B. Scott hat das beeindruckende Artwork mit dem Thema ‘Evolution of Luke Skywalker’ für uns entworfen. Stephen ist ein amerikanischer Comic Zeichner der unter anderem das offizielle Comic zum Batman Film ‘The Dark Knight’ gezeichnet hat und der von George Lucas gefragt wurde Zeichnungen für das Comic ‘Indiana Jones and the Tomb of Gods’ zu machen. Art Grafunkel war für den Entwurf verantwortlich.
