[:nl]In december loop je dan ook de kans om oog in oog te komen staan met R2-D2, BB-8 of andere droids uit het Star Wars-universum. De Astromech Builders Club Benelux en R2 Builders Belgium zijn namelijk aanwezig om hun zelfgemaakte creaties aan jullie te tonen! Je kunt ze overal tegenkomen om mee op de foto te gaan of om te vragen aan de makers hoe ze de droids hebben gebouwd.[:en]In December you will be able to meet R2-D2, BB-8 or other droids from the Star Wars universe. The Astromech Builders Club Benelux and R2 Builders Belgium will be present to show you their selfmade creations! You can meet them all over the venue to take pictures with them or to ask their makers what it takes to build the droids.[:]
[:nl]Op Echo Base Charity Con 2017 zal Remnants of the Order vertoond worden en wordt de screening afgesloten met een panel met de makers. Daarnaast zullen zij aanwezig zijn met een stand waar bezoekers onder meer props kunnen bekijken en kunnen zien wat er allemaal qua werk vooraf gaat aan het maken van een film.[:]

[:nl]In het verleden wist Stichting Echo Base diverse officiële artiesten te strikken om artwork te maken voor zowel onze magazines als onze conventieposters. Ook voor deze editie hebben we een geweldige artiest weten te strikken die het poster artwork voor ons zal verzorgen, namelijk Stephen B. Scott.[:en]In the past Echo Base Foundation managed to secure several official artists to supply us with artwork for both our magazines as our convention posters. For the upcoming edition we were able to secure another fantastic artist who will be making our exclusive convention poster: Stephen B. Scott.[:]
[:nl]Net zoals het het geval was bij onze twee voorafgaande edities in 2002 en 2003 zal ook deze 2017 editie in het teken staan van een goed doel. Waren dat in het verleden het Koningin Wilhelmina Kankerfonds (KWF) en Stichting Doe Een Wens, nu is het de beurt aan een voor Star Wars fans zeer voor de hand liggend goed doel. Echo Base Charity Con 2017 zal namelijk in het teken staan van...[:en]Just as was the case with our previous two editions in 2002 and 2003, this 2017 edition will be dedicated to a good cause. Past charities were the Dutch Cancer Society (Koningin Wilhelmina Kankerfonds) and Make a Wish for which thousands of dollars were raised. [:nl]Op zaterdag 16 december 2017 zal Kinepolis Utrecht haar deuren openen voor de 2017 editie van Echo Base Charity Con! We konden ons geen meer toepasselijke locatie indenken dan deze prachtig, moderne en centraal gelegen bioscoop. Op locaties op de begane grond en op de tweede verdieping zullen allerlei activiteiten plaatsvinden. In zaal 12, zich eveneens op de tweede verdieping bevindend, zullen onder meer allerlei panels gehouden worden...[:en]On Saturday, December 16, 2017, Kinepolis Jaarbeurs Utrecht will open its doors for the 2017 edition of the Echo Base Charity Con! We can't imagine a more appropriate location than this gorgeous, modern and centrally located cinema. On several locations on the ground floor and the second floor all kinds of activities will take place. At screen 12, the largest screening room of Kinepolis Jaarbeurs with a whopping 619 seats located on the second floor, we will be holding several panels...[:]
