Als kind las hij al diverse comicreeksen zoals <em>The Hulk<\/em>, <em>Judge Dredd<\/em> en <em>The Shadow<\/em>. Toen hij er ook zijn beroep van maakte, was zijn thuisstaat niet de meest ideale plek om een baan te krijgen. Grote uitgevers zoals Marvel en DC zijn namelijk gehuisvest in New York. Daarom stuurde hij per post zijn tekeningen op in de hoop om ergens aangenomen te worden. Dat lukte met als gevolg een behoorlijke staat van dienst.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Stephen heeft getekend voor DC Comics, Marvel Comics, Image, Dark Horse en vele andere uitgevers. De lijst titels waar hij aan heeft gewerkt is minstens zo indrukwekkend. Denk bijvoorbeeld aan <em>Batman<\/em>, <em>X-Men Forever<\/em>, <em>JLA<\/em>, <em>Hulk<\/em> en nog veel meer. Stephen heeft ook gewerkt aan de televisieserie <em>Smallville<\/em> en aan de familieserie <em>Kyle XY<\/em>. Door George Lucas werd hij gevraagd om de art te verzorgen voor <em>Indiana Jones and the Tomb of the Gods<\/em>. Bijna alle art is daarna gekocht door George Lucas en is nu onderdeel van zijn persoonlijke collectie. Recent werk van Stephen is <em>The Graveyard Book<\/em> van de veelvuldig onderscheiden auteur Neil Gaiman. Momenteel werkt hij aan de stripserie <em>Normandy Gold<\/em> voor uitgeverij Titan Comics.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Stephen maakte voor ons evenement speciale en exclusieve poster art, waarvan we onlangs het <a href=\"http:\/\/www.echobasecon.nl\/2017\/10\/12\/exclusieve-star-wars-conventieposter\/\">resultaat<\/a> presenteerden.
