The only 100% Star Wars convention in the Netherlands was fully sold out with over 1,200 visitors attending and supported <a href=\"http:\/\/www.echobasecon.nl\/en\/charity\/\">Star Wars: Force for Change<\/a> benefiting <span style=\"color: #3366ff;\"><strong>Unicef Nederland<\/strong><\/span>.<\/p>\n<p>Thanks to Star Wars fans from all over Europe and partners such as <strong>The Walt Disney Company Netherlands<\/strong>, <strong>Lucasfilm<\/strong>, <strong>Kinepolis Nederland<\/strong>, <strong>Hasbro<\/strong>, <strong>LEGO<\/strong>, <strong>IXXI<\/strong>, <strong>Philips<\/strong>, <strong>Triple P Entertainment<\/strong> and <strong>Catawiki<\/strong> the event raised an incredible <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>10.604 euro<\/strong><\/span>, that will be donated in full to a special project benefiting children in Africa: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.unicef.nl\/projecten\/het-enige-kinderziekenhuis\">www.unicef.nl\/projecten\/het-enige-kinderziekenhuis<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>We would like to thank everybody who made it possible to raise this amount for charity and we would look forward to seeing you again at the next edition of Echo Base Con in <strong>december 2019<\/strong> !<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Op 16 december vond Echo Base Charity Con 2017 plaats in Kinepolis Jaarbeurs Utrecht.
