An edition of Echo Base Charity Con wouldn’t be complete without LudoSport Amsterdam, the premier Lightsaber Academy in the Netherlands! More than just a combat sport, this is where the passion for Star Wars comes to life in epic lightsaber duels.
LudoSport is a sport of Italian origin that uses lightsabers. LudoSport is not about hitting hard, but rather about technique, agility, control and speed. Because of this, the sport is safe and anyone from the age of eight can participate. Because of the variety of techniques and weapons (single long, double short and staff) you will be able to keep learning for years.
LudoSport Amsterdam organizes competitions and workshops in addition to weekly classes, and will be hosting free workshops during Echo Base Con that any visitor aged eight and up can participate in.
