[:nl]Ook deze editie van Echo Base Charity Con zal in het teken staan van een goed doel. In 2002 begon het met het Koningin Wilhelmina Kankerfonds (KWF), in 2003 was het de beurt aan Stichting Doe Een Wens (Make a Wish) en in 2017 stond het evenement in het teken van UNICEF via Force for Change, het officiële goede doel van Lucasfilm.

Voor de editie van 2019 kunnen we vandaag bekendmaken dat deze in het teken zal staan van the Children Cancer-free Foundation, beter bekend als KiKa. Alle opbrengsten zullen worden gedoneerd aan dit prachtige goede doel.

In 2002 we started with the Dutch Cancer Foundation, in 2003 the focus was on the Make A Wish Foundation and in 2017 the event supported UNICEF through Force for Change, the official charity of Lucasfilm.

For the 2019 edition, we can announce today that it will support the Children Cancer-free Foundation, in the Netherlands better known under its acronym KiKa.This foundation funds research on all forms of childhood cancer. All proceeds will be donated to this wonderful charity.
