Mike Quinn is best known for his role as Nien Nunb, Lando's copilot of the Millennium Falcon in Return Of The Jedi, the recent Star Wars trilogy and the Disney attraction Rise Of The Resistance.
In Return of the Jedi he was also involved in the performance of Yoda, Jabba the Hutt, several Baby Ewoks, Sy Snootles, Admiral Ackbar and Ree Yees. Recently, he provided animatronic lip-sync of the character Dewi in the Disney+ series Andor, in which for the very first time his own voice can be heard!

In his career spanning over forty years he worked on both sides of the camera as a director, producer, actor, animator, puppet builder, puppeteer and voice actor.
He was personally chosen by Jim Henson and Frank Oz to work on many Muppet projects such as The Great Muppet Caper, The Dark Crystal, De Freggels, Labyrinth, Muppet Christmas Carol, Muppet Treasure Island, The Muppets, Muppets Most Wanted and the television series The Muppets and Muppets Now on Disney+.
Other movies and television shows he worked on, are Who Framed Roger Rabbit?, Little Shop Of Horrors, How To Get Ahead In Advertising, The Storyteller, Glee, Lady Gaga and The Muppets, Good Luck Charlie, Shake It Up, Muppets Wizard Of Oz, The Secret Life Of Toys, The Ghost Of Faffner Hall, Jim Henson’s Mother Goose Stories, Jim Carrey’s Kidding and recently on the Willow streaming serie.
As a character animator he worked at Pixar and ILM / Lucasfilm on A Bug’s Life, Toy Story 2, Star Wars: Attack Of The Clones and Jurassic Park III.
When not working with the Muppets or somewhere else, Mike keeps himself busy with building puppets and developing projects for movies and television. He also runs an online puppet academy names Secrets Of Puppetry, the only one of its kind that teaches high level hand puppetry skills to aspiring puppeteers.
