Exactly six years ago today, after fourteen years of absence, a new edition of Echo Base Charity Con took place. The largest Star Wars event in the Benelux was completely sold out more than three weeks before it started.
Many Star Wars VIPs were in attendance, including Jeremy 'Boba Fett‘ Bulloch, Tim ‘Admiral Ackbar' Rose and many others. And with the latest Star Wars film The Last Jedi having just premiered, a 'charity screening' also took place.
UNICEF was the chosen charity this time and thanks to all the visitors, volunteers and the many bidders at the Catawiki auction, over €10,000 was raised.
