The rebels of the Rebel Legion will have a tough task to protect all visitors, because the 501st Legion will be coming to Amsterdam. Indeed, members of the Dutch Garrison will be present at Echo Base Charity Con 2023!
The Dutch Garrison is the Dutch branch of the 501st Legion, the worldwide Star Wars cosplay association that focuses on the outfits of the "bad guys". This organization has been committed to charities at all kinds of events for many years, and we are thrilled that they will help us raise money for Make-A-Wish.
The 501st Legion started in 1997 with a small website. Now, years later, it has grown to a worldwide phenomenon with over 4,000 members. All of its members have their own costume of one of the bad guys from Star Wars, such as Darth Vader, Stormtroopers and Boba Fett. The 501st has high standards when it comes to costumes, making them almost indistinctable from the real deal.
