[:nl]In het verleden wist Stichting Echo Base diverse officiële artiesten te strikken om artwork te maken voor zowel onze magazines als onze conventieposters. Ook voor deze editie hebben we een geweldige artiest weten te strikken die het poster artwork voor ons zal verzorgen, namelijk Stephen B. Scott.

Stephen heeft getekend voor DC Comics, Marvel Comics, Image, Dark Horse en ga zo maar door. De titels waar hij aan heeft gewerkt zijn net zo indrukwekkend als de uitgevers. Denk bijvoorbeeld aan “Batman“, “X-Men Forever“, “JLA“, “Hulk” en nog veel meer. Stephen heeft ook gewerkt aan de televisieserie “Smallville” en aan ABC familieserie “Kyle XY“. Door George Lucas werd hij gevraagd om de art te verzorgen voor “Indiana Jones and the Tomb of the Gods“. Bijna alle art is daarna gekocht door George Lucas en is nu onderdeel van zijn persoonlijke collectie. Recent werk van Stephen is “The Graveyard Book” van de veelvuldig onderscheiden auteur Neil Gaiman en daarnaast werkt hij momenteel aan de stripserie “Normandy Gold” van uitgeverij Titan Comics.

For the upcoming Echo Base Charity Con 2017 we were able to secure another fantastic artist who will be making our exclusive convention poster: Stephen B. Scott.

Stephen has drawn for DC Comics, Marvel Comics, Image, Dark Horse and so on. The titles he worked on are equally impressive as the publishers he worked for: “Batman“, “X-Men Forever“, “JLA“, “Hulk” and many more. Stephen also worked on the television series “Smallville” and the ABC family series “Kyle XY“. He was asked by George Lucas to supply the art for “Indiana Jones and the Tomb of the Gods“. Nearly all of the art pieces we subsequently bought by George Lucas and are now part of his personal collection. Recent work of Stephen includes “The Graveyard Book” by the acclaimed author Neil Gaiman and besides that he is working on the comic series “Normandy Gold” from publisher Titan Comics.
