[:nl]Er is geen dark side zonder de light side. Daarom kunnen we vandaag aankondigen dat ook de Rebel Legion – Dune Base Sea aanwezig zal zijn op Echo Base Charity Con.

De Dune Base Sea in de Nederlandse tak van de Rebel Legion, een wereldwijde organisatie die zich net als de 501st bezighoudt met de kostuums uit het Star Wars universum en zich onder meer inzet voor goede doelen. Deze organisatie in in 1999 opgericht en heeft door de jaren heen wereldwijd afdelingen opgebouwd. Zij vertegenwoordigen de ‘good guys’ en leden van deze groep zijn in het bezit van één of meerdere kostuums van bijvoorbeeld Jedi of Rebellen, zoals Obi-Wan Kenobi, Prinses Leia of X-wing piloten.

[:en]There is no dark side without the light side. Today we are happy to announce that the Rebel Legion – Dune Base Sea will also be present at the Echo Base Charity Con.

The Dune Sea Base is the Dutch division of the Rebel Legion, a worldwide organisation which, just like the 501st, focuses on the costumes of the Star Wars universe and amongst other things, gives back to community through the works of charity. This organisation was founded in 1999 and has spawned many chapters all over the world through the years. They represent the ‘good guys’ and members of the group own one or several costumes of, for example, Jedi or Rebels such as Obi-Wan Kenobi, Princess Leia or X-wing pilots.

[:de]Ohne die dunkle Seite der Macht gibt es auch keine helle Seite der Macht. Aus diesem Grund können wir mitteilen das die ‚Rebel Legion – Dune Sea Base‘ auf der Echo Base Charity Con dabei sein wird.

Die ‚Dune Base Sea‘ ist der niederländische Zweig der ‚Rebel Legion‘, einer Organisation, die auf der ganzen Welt verbreitet ist und bei der es um Kostüme aus dem Star Wars Universum geht. Zudem setzt sich die ‚Dune Base Sea‘ auch oft für gute Zwecke ein. Die Organisation wurde 1999 gegründet und hat sich im Laufe der Jahre über die ganze Welt ausgebreitet. Sie spielen ‚die Guten‘ und Mitglieder der Organisation haben oft mehrere Kostüme von Charakteren wie zum Beispiel Obi-Wan Kenobi, Prinzessin Leia, Jedi Rebellen oder X-Wing Piloten.
