[:nl]Over minder dan een maand is het zo ver en opent Echo Base Charity Con haar deuren! Tijdens Echo Base Con vinden op de main stage “Starkiller Base” diverse panels met onze gasten en filmvertoningen plaats. Momenteel wordt de laatste hand gelegd aan het programma. Alle tot nu toe bevestigde panels en vertoningen vind je hier terug.

Vandaag stellen we je alvast voor aan Aksel Ethem, de presentator van ons panelprogramma. Aksel is als acteur te zien in verschillende televisie-, film- en theaterproducties. Hij is onder andere bekend van zijn rol als oom George in de Nederlandse serie Just Like Me van Disney Channel Benelux.

Aksel maakte op jonge leeftijd kennis met Star Wars via het gelijknamige computerspel op de Nintendo 8-bit. Sindsdien is hij gek op alles wat met Star Wars te maken heeft, of het nu computerspellen, speelgoed, pleisters of bekers zijn. Aksel is fervent motorrijder en is een opvallende verschijning met zijn met Star Wars-stickers volgeplakte motor en Red Leader-helm! Voor deze acteur èn Star Wars-fan is het spelen in een Star Wars-film natuurlijk de ultieme droom. Tot die tijd heten wij hem hartelijk welkom als gastheer van “Starkiller Base”!

Today we would like to introduce you to Aksel Ethem, our “Starkiller Base” host. Aksel is an actor, known for various TV, film and theatre productions. Dutch and Belgian fans might know him from the Dutch series Just Like Me that can be seen on Disney Channel Benelux.

Aksel was a little boy when he was introduced to Star Wars playing the video game on the 8 bit Nintendo. Since then, he loves everything that has to do with Star Wars, be it video games, toys, band aids or coffee mugs. Aksel loves to drive his motorcycle and is easy to recognize because of the Star Wars stickers on the bike and his Red Leader helmet!
