[:nl]Eén van de belangrijkste onderdelen van Echo Base Con zijn de panels die plaatsvinden op onze imposante Main Stage met maar liefst 575 plaatsen. We zijn trots om aan te kondigen dat Nederlands bekendste rapper én Star Wars-uberfan Brainpower zijn medewerking aan Echo Base Con gaat verlenen door de interviews en panels op de Main Stage te hosten.

De Main Stage van Echo Base Charity Con

Brainpower heeft zijn sporen ruimschoots verdiend in binnen- en buitenland. Zo ontving hij tijdens zijn succesvolle carrière tot nu toe al 45 gouden/platina platen en awards, en verkocht hij als artiest/songwriter ruim 1 miljoen platen zoals de megahit “Dansplaat”. In 2018 wint deze woordkunstenaar zijn eerste prijs in Amerika: De Global Peace Song Award voor zijn single “All The Same”. Zijn single “Animal Sauvage” is te horen in de blockbuster The Equalizer 2 met Denzel Washington.

Naast gepassioneerd artiest is Brainpower tevens producer, label-eigenaar en ondernemer. Als songwriter werkt hij met (en voor) andere artiesten en projecten in binnen- en buitenland. Hij is ook regelmatig te zien bij RTL vanwege zijn enorme muziek-, film- en popcultuur-kennis.

[:en]One of the most important elements of Echo Base Con are the panels that will take place on our impressive, 575-seat Main Stage. We are proud to announce that Brainpower, one of the most successful artists in the Netherlands as well as a Star Wars uberfan, will host the Main Stage of Echo Base Charity Con 2019.

The Main Stage of Echo Base Charity Con

Brainpower is a very successful artist, both in the Netherlands and abroad. So far, he has received over 45 gold or platinum records and awards, and sold over 1 million records such as the Dutch mega hit “Dansplaat“. In 2018, Brainpower won his first award in the United States: the Global Peace Song Award for his track “All The Same”. His track “Animal Sauvage” appears on the soundtrack of the blockbuster film The Equalizer 2 with Denzel Washington.

Besides a passionate artist, Brainpower is also producer, record company owner and entrepreneur. As a songwriter, he works with (and for) other artists on projects both domestic and abroad. He is also a regular on Dutch TV station RTL because of his enormous knowledge of music, film and pop culture.
