Waren dat in het verleden het Koningin Wilhelmina Kankerfonds (KWF) en Stichting Doe Een Wens, nu is het de beurt aan een voor Star Wars fans zeer voor de hand liggend goed doel. Echo Base Charity Con 2017 zal namelijk in het teken staan van...[:en]Just as was the case with our previous two editions in 2002 and 2003, this 2017 edition will be dedicated to a good cause. Past charities were the Dutch Cancer Society (Koningin Wilhelmina Kankerfonds) and Make a Wish for which thousands of dollars were raised. This time we turn to a for Star Wars fans very obvious cause. [:]
[:nl]Op zaterdag 16 december 2017 zal Kinepolis Utrecht haar deuren openen voor de 2017 editie van Echo Base Charity Con! We konden ons geen meer toepasselijke locatie indenken dan deze prachtig, moderne en centraal gelegen bioscoop. Op locaties op de begane grond en op de tweede verdieping zullen allerlei activiteiten plaatsvinden. In zaal 12, zich eveneens op de tweede verdieping bevindend, zullen onder meer allerlei panels gehouden worden...[:en]On Saturday, December 16, 2017, Kinepolis Jaarbeurs Utrecht will open its doors for the 2017 edition of the Echo Base Charity Con! We can't imagine a more appropriate location than this gorgeous, modern and centrally located cinema. On several locations on the ground floor and the second floor all kinds of activities will take place. At screen 12, the largest screening room of Kinepolis Jaarbeurs with a whopping 619 seats located on the second floor, we will be holding several panels...[:]
